    Mare Street Market is a 10,000 sq. ft hospitality & retail space located on Mare Street, Hackney. It features a bar and restaurant, a deli shop, and six unique retailers including a barber, a record store, a coffee shop, and a florist.

    The bars offer a diverse selection of drinks showcasing artisanal cocktails, carefully selected beers, and a wide range of wines. The kitchen serves a modern European all-day menu, including neapolitan pizzas. In addition to our open kitchen, diners can also enjoy their meals in the intimate setting of the signature Chandelier Room.

    Rebel Rebel
    Flowers

    Mairead Curtin and Athena Duncan founded Rebel Rebel in 2000 when they escaped working in telly for something a bit more lucrative and relaxing. Since then, they have grown a small floral events company into a thriving business with a shop in Mare Street Market.

    These London-based Rebels buy their flowers and foliage every day in New Covent Garden Flower Market and from local growers, filling the shop with the most beautiful blooms they can find to create gorgeous bouquets for London’s most discerning flower lovers.

    Flying Horse
    Coffee

    Inheriting its name from Hackney’s 16th-century roots; the Flying Horse Inn was a famous staging post for weary travellers and their steeds, which traded between 1593 and 1914.

    Carrying on the tradition in providing a space to rest, Flying Horse proudly cups, roasts, and ships all of its coffee from the roastery inside Mare Street Market.
