Father’s Day at Mare Street Market & Island

A Special Sunday Roast

This Father’s Day, Sunday 21st June, Mare Street Market is the place to be. Between our own Sunday roast in Hackney and our friends at Island doing something special upstairs at King’s Cross, there’s plenty going on across both sites for the Dads and the families bringing them out for the day.

Whether you’re joining us in Hackney or heading to Island, this Sunday is shaping up to be one worth showing up for.

Father’s Day at Mare Street Market Hackney

Dads are notoriously hard to do anything for. They don’t want a fuss, they’ll tell you they don’t need anything, and if you push them on it, they’ll say a quiet Sunday would be nice. So that’s exactly what Mare Street Market Hackney is giving them this Father’s Day.

This Sunday 21st June, Dad’s roast and drink is on the house, all you need is a table of two or more. Widely regarded as one of the best Sunday roasts in East London the Sunday roast is available at the Hackney location only, and it’s the kind of spread that makes the effort of getting everyone together very much worth it.

Some Sundays are just Sundays. This one should be something a little more special, and Mare Street Market Hackney can’t wait to have you in for it.

Two things have always been difficult: knowing what to get Dad, and actually getting everyone in the same room. Consider both taken care of.

Father’s Day at Island

Our friends at Island, the Michelin-recommended restaurant sitting inside Mare Street Market King’s Cross, are welcoming every Dad with a drink on the house this Father’s Day.

Fresh oysters to open, followed by a choice of beef rump & cheek, Tamworth porchetta, roast chicken or catch of the day – all served with every trimming they deserve.

Island have also partnered with Stretch Life downstairs to offer something Dad would never think to book for himself, a professional assisted stretching session that can be added straight to any reservation, valid for a full 12 months post booking. The kind of treat he’d never ask for, but absolutely needs.

Reserve your table at Island via the link below.
